The goal of this game is to escape the planet. In this game from the start, you are being chased by alien blobs trying to rule your planet. The only way to save the planet is to find the key, go through the gate to get to the ship where you can destroy the stars where the aliens originally came from. To play the game you use the WASD keys to move the player character. When you are the player to interact with objects and talk to NPC you use the space bar to open and close dialogue boxes. The goal in the first part of the game is to get off of the main planet via the portal/warp gate. Once the player goes through the warp gate they are in space. From here the player has to make their way to the ship to board it. From there the player controls the ship using the right and left arrow keys. The goal at this point is to shoot all the stars/enemies out of the sky using bullets which are made by the space key. 

I think that this game overall turned out how I wanted it to. Since this was such a short game I am glad that I was able to add some more aspects to gameplay and a reason that the player does what they do. My favorite aspect that I experimented with was making the bullets in the game. This aspect was important because it is something that I have always thought about making but never had. Another part that I am glad I experimented on was making the enemies follow the player. At first, I added this aspect so that there would be some sort of way to die in the game. Overall, I think this game is a good first prototype for a larger project because it experiments with different ideas that I may want to use in the future.
